Hi, my name is Monica Oana Gusat. I am a funny (I think), life loving Romanian born, who found her secondary home in Acadiana about 20 years ago. I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from University of Bucharest, Romania. I am also an unlicensed humor therapy practitioner. 

My journey as a nurse started about 10 years ago. Ever since, I have been in direct patient care. My background is in multiple areas of nursing, including post-op, oncology, medical-surgical, orthopedic, rehabilitation and cardiovascular care.  After going through my own health struggles, I gained more insight and a renewed passion for helping others travel through their personal health journey. I believe that medicine should be approached holistically and that allopathic medicine can work hand in hand with alternative medicine. 

When not providing care at Diamond Drip, I continue to work as an RN within the Ochsner Lafayette Health System.  Outside work, I enjoy this journey called life along with my husband, our two children and our beloved family pets.

Hi, my name is Jeneen Black-Turner an I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I am a member of Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and also a member of Sigma Theta Tau and an instructor for American Heart Association. 

My background is in both the administrative and clinical aspect of healthcare, as I have extensive experience in Health Education, Health Administration, Hospital Medicine, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED/ER), and Urgent Care. 

In 2010, I graduated from Northwestern State University with a diploma in Master of Science in Nursing and in 1998, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
